
Bering Sea Crab

Crewmen beat ice off the bow of the fishing vessel "Kiska Sea" during an opilio crab fishing season in the the Bering Sea in January and February of 1995. Ice is formed when waves crash over the bow and freeze immediately to anything they touch. Several feet of ice had covered the boat in just a matter of hours during this storm.
