Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) students attend class at Bojeaux Park in Port au Prince, Haiti between September 12 and September 14, 2011 taught by volunteers from EMPACT Northwest. The park is the site of a former medical clinic set up in the aftermath of the Hurricane that devastated Haiti almost 2 years ago. The students will operate the Port Au Prince Medic One unit, believed to be the first of its kind run by Haitians in Haiti. Empact Northwest is a non-profit based out of Washington state.
