FFA student Michael Soule, 16, from White River High School soothes his pig, Wilbur prior to showing him at the auction. He got Wilbur six months ago when he was around 30-40 pounds. Soule built him a pen and spent about an hour a day with him. He lives with his mother their farm raising goats, chickens, rabbits, and alpacas. Wilbur is his first pig. "Its kind of sad." says Soule who plans to participate in FFA again next year. He figures Wilbur will fetch around $250 at the livestock auction.
