Tamira Thayne and Robin Budin of Dogs Deserve Better discuss matters concerning the Olympic Animal Sanctuary in Forks, WA on December 10, 2013. It is estimated owner Steve Markwell has 124 dogs in there living in neglected, filthy conditions. Thayne and Budin flew out from Virginia to get one of their dogs back named Sonny which Markwell has refused to release. Thayne had been arrested days before for violating an anti-harrassment order while protesting outside the facility which said she must stay 500 feet away. She said it is within her right to stand on a public street. A judge agreed and dropped her case.
