10/20/03 crab NWS::  Crab boat (also a trawler) the F/V Starlite passes crabbers and trawlers tied to the Alyeska Seafoods processing plant in Dutch Harbor on its way out to the crab fishing grounds approximately 24 hours away, or 160 miles, in Bristol Bay. This year's ADFG forecast of 14.7 million pounds was the largest projected harvest of Bristol Bay red king crab in 12 years.  It will be several weeks before crabbers know if that harvest was met.
