This dog, age and name unknown, lives in the backyard of a house in Rainier Beach Seattle, photographed on December 23, 2008. .The brother of the owner, Eli, shrugged his shoulders estimating the dog gets to go for a walk about once a month. They have had the dog for 5 years. The dog had no food or water when I was there but Eli said the dog is fed left overs of rice, with pork or meat sometimes. (Karen Ducey/Seattle Post-Intelligencer)
