10/23/03 crab NWS::  Processors Raul Sandoval from Mexico and Richard Go (right) from the Phillipines work in a fish hold of the F/V Pacific Sun, at the Unisea dock in Dutch Harbor, AK.  Caught in Bristol Bay during a 5 day opener, the crab were kept alive in fish holds filled with seawater until the boat's delivery time.  Unisea employs about 1200 processors for a 5 month contract (on average) during its peak months in January and February.  The processors, representing around 12 different countries, are supplied with airfare from Seattle, food, laundry service, meals, housing, and medical care from Unisea so they're cost of living is minimal and many are able to save their money.
